Node.js Image Guide

Node.js® is a JavaScript runtime built on Chrome’s V8 JavaScript engine. Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient.

This is the installation guide of  the software image powered by Websoft9.

Software Version: Node.js6.10.0/7.3.3…,  nvm0.29.0
By referring to the next chapter, You can change Node.js version.

MongoDB version: MongoDB3.4.2

Virtual host Configuration File directory: /usr/local/apache/conf/vhost
Virtual host Configuration Command: /root/oneinstack/

1. Use NVM to list available Node.js versions:

nvm ls-remote

2. Enter nvm ls to display the locally installed version of the Node.js, as well as the version currently in use.

3. If you need to install Node.js v7.7.3, enter nvm install v7.7.3 to install it locally.

4. When you install Node.js, you can enter node --version to confirm the current version.

5. You can use nvm use 7.7.3  to specify the version you want to use, or use nvm alias default 7.7.3 to specify a permanent version. Then you can enter node --version to confirm the current version.

root@iZbp1i4rjdsy216yq7lgucZ:~#node /data/wwwroot/nodejs_demo/hello.js
