Aria2

aria2 is The ultra fast download utility, used for Files Management . aria2 is a lightweight multi-protocol & multi-source, cross platform download utility operated in command-line. It supports HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, BitTorrent and Metalink.

Prepare​

When referring to this document to use aria2, please read and ensure the following points:

  • Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install aria2:

    • Go to My Apps listing applications
    • Go to App Store installing target application

  • This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

  • The purpose of this application complies with the GPL-2.0 open source license agreement.

  • Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting started​

Connect to the Aria2 RPC Service​

After installing Aria2 on the Websoft9 console, view the application details through My Apps and get the RPC service connection information in the Access section.

  1. Access the AriaNg page from your local computer's browser

  2. Select AriaNg Settings, configure the RPC connection information

    • Address: http:Aria2 access address
    • Port: RPC port

  3. Reload the AriaNg page and the status should change to Connected.

Troubleshooting​

Aria2 connection failed?​

Make sure the RPC Secret for Aria2 is correct. For example, a password that contains @ will fail to connect.
