Collabora Online Development Edition is Office suite integrated into your own infrastructure, used for Document Service Document Collaboration . Collabora Online is a powerful collaborative Office suite that supports all major document, spreadsheet and presentation file formats, which you can integrate into your own infrastructure.

Prepare​

When referring to this document to use Collabora Online Development Edition, please read and ensure the following points:

  • Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install Collabora Online Development Edition:

    • Go to My Apps listing applications
    • Go to App Store installing target application

  • This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

  • The purpose of this application complies with the MPL-2.0 open source license agreement.

  • Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting started​

Initial setup​

  1. After completing the installation of Collabora in the Websoft9 Console, get the applicaiton's Overview and Access information from My Apps

  2. Complete the installation wizard step by step

Integration with Nextcloud​

Nextcloud has a good integration with Collabora.

  1. Install the Collabora Online - Built-in CODE Server application in Nextcloud

  2. In Administrative Settings > Administration > Built-in Server (CODE), install the Nextcloud Office plugin

  3. In Administrative Settings > Administration > Office > Use your own server, enter the Collabora Online access URL.

  4. Save successfully to enable usage.
