Rancher

Rancher is Enterprise Kubernetes Management, used for Operations Automation . Rancher is a complete software stack for teams adopting containers.

Prepare

When referring to this document to use Rancher, please read and ensure the following points:

• Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install Rancher:

  • Go to My Apps listing applications
  • Go to App Store installing target application

• This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

• The purpose of this application complies with the apache2 open source license agreement.

• Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting started

Initial setup

1. When completed installation of Rancher at Websoft9 Console, binding domain and set HTTPS by Gateway

2. Go to this application management interface from My Apps, get the access URL and command for get init password

3. Execute the that command to get the password from Terminal of Websoft9 console

4. Enter the Access URL by HTTPS in your local browser, enter the password and follow the wizard to complete the initialization.
